Conflict of Interest Policy
Conflict of interest resources:
- Designated Officials at UCSC (see also
UCOP General Council). Each designated
official is assigned to one or more disclosure categories and must disclose
reportable financial interests in each category.
- Appendix B lists the
disclosure categories and corresponding schedules for each Designated Official.
The Office of the President General Counsel also has a
web page with
instructions for completing the disclosure statement.
- There is also a specific
conflict of interest policy for support groups.
- Form G-39 Bulletin
policy related to conflict of interest. G-39 requires requires an
annual public filing of financial disclosure statement by all
Designated Official.
Form 700 Filing
Instructions
Conflict of Interest Issues Related to Hiring Consultants and Contracting for
Goods and Services. California Public Contract Code 10510 through 10526 address conflicts of
interest in consulting and in contracting for goods and services. UC Office of
the resident has issued a href="/docs/3-04-04jpm.pdf">this letter outlining how
these bills affect UC and how they should be implemented.
